Buying Time from Money
So what is Time? Well, this is the scientific definition of it: A non-spatial continuum that is measured in terms of events that succeed one another from the past to the present and into the future. Yeah I know it's a bit complicated, but according to my definition: time is an illusion through which we measure our day-to-day tasks. Time is a concept that is created by homo sapiens not by Nature, because if you imagine being sucked into a Black Hole, then, their time won't exist it would appear to the observer that the object which was thrown is frozen. Also another fact is, Photons don't obey the rules of time. If light would take 1 billion years to travel from a distant start then for us it would be 1 Billion years but for the photons, it won't have made a difference. According to relativity, mass can never move through the Universe at light speed. Mass will increase to infinity, and the amount of energy required to move it any faster will also be infinite. But for light itself, which is already moving at light speed… You guessed it, the photons reach zero distance and zero time. For them, there would be no past or future but only present. So now we can see that the concept of time is made by humans.
Now we all know that time is irreplaceable and limited because one day or another we all have to drift apart from this world. So many people think that we cannot buy time even if are amongst the richest people on Earth, but I don't think that it is completely true I agree you can't buy time but definitely leverage MONEY for TIME. What do I mean to say is that we can trade our money to "gain" or "buy" time. But how can we do so? It's simple you have to trade other people's time for your money. But what we usually tend to do is that we trade our time for money which is done when we work for others. Basically when we are hired to do a 9-5 job. I am not saying that job is taking up our precious time but we have to work in order to earn and survive, but the real problem here is that people literally give up a majority of their time to work for others instead of doing the opposite. To leverage time we have to leverage our money for it.
The way to make more time for ourselves is by outsourcing the work by building up a team. Many people tend to do all the work in their business to save some money but they fail to understand that by doing so they are giving up their precious time which they will never get back. So my recommendation is that we need to set up a system and hire people who can run the business which we have built. Of course, it takes time to do so but hey, it's worth the effort to make our business auto-pilot. We have to be the pilot at least till the time arrives where we can hire people to be the pilot and keep our " business plan" afloat in the air even if we aren't on board. The only quickest way to do so is to reinvest every single profit that you earn, back into the business so that you can manage to scale your business as well as your system to make it ready for the auto-pilot mode. Let's take an example to make the concept easier to understand.
1. Joe is a very hard-working businessman who gives a majority of his time towards building his brand. Also, he does a majority of the work by himself to reduce the amount spent on hiring and paying his staff. His hard work finally pays off and he built a very successful business. But he had to pay the price for it since he spent the majority of his time in the company, he never really had any time left for his family or loved ones. He was always exhausted when he came back home, had no time for vacations, always was on his phone even when he was at home. This routine initially made no difference in his life, instead, he had become affluent and had prospered a lot but the contrary was that when he got old, he couldn't spend the money he had earned since he was not very healthy and his house was not a home because there was literally no one to live with him, he was all alone because he never really devoted any time for his wife so she had left him. He may be RICH but in REALITY, he was BROKE.
2. Ryan was Joe's friend who was also very rich but not how Joe was. Even Ryan had worked really very hard to set up his business, he worked hours and hours but when the time finally paid for his efforts, he responded to it in a different way. He took the profits from his earnings to set up departments and hire more staff to make the system convenient and he was able to do that and also devote time for his family and for himself. He finally managed to outsource his business and set it up in auto-pilot mode. By this, he was able to achieve what Joe couldn't. By doing so Ryan had more time for himself, it did not require him to spend the majority of his time towards his office, he traveled the world, enjoyed his life to the fullest, and once his first business was set up he was able to build another one because the first one did not need much time and attention of Ryan as he had leveraged more time for his money.
So now I hope you have understood the importance of time and how to leverage money for it. I hope you all do the same because money can be lost and also brought back at the same time but time cannot be brought it can only be utilized and leveraged.
